Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an extremely popular American actress and singer. Bell is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is born in Polish heritage (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen developed a talent to perform on a young stage. In 1992 she won her first role at her audition in Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell was appointed by her mom as an agent at the age of was thirteen years old. Then, she was cast for newspaper ads and TV commercials. Along with having private lessons, she began her acting career at that time. Bell played a small part without credit for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz was performed by her high school and she won the role as Dorothy. Bell was a student at an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre within New York City. Bell was a graduate in 2001, decided to leave her university studies to perform the role Becky in Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang however, the sequence in which she played the role was removed. This meant that the credit sequence is all that exists. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in the Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
