Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue ellis-taylor, an American stage and screen actress and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress for her performances as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She received an B.A. from African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actress, producer and director who has worked in both film and television. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 before appearing in mainstream, independent, and television series. She was known for appearing in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's huge The Book of Negroes. Both series received major reviews, and she also won a lot of accolades. In 1995, she appeared in her first performance on stage in The Tempest as Ariel. On Broadway, she has appeared on stage in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Film-wise she is most famous for roles such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. In the world of television, her role on ABC's drama series about police High Incident has earned her the praise of her fellow actors.
